Business games

As a help in learning by doing, Part Development has developed three business games that are excellent additions to different types of Lean trainings:

  • The Game of 5S and Continuous Improvements: This simulates working with 5S in combination with performing activities in your own operation. Read more about the game and see a demonstration film here.
  • The Lean Flow Game: This simulates the improvement of a physical flow through the use of Lean principles and Lean methods. Read more about the game and see a demonstration film here.
  • The Lean Project Game: This game simulates the improvement of project efficiency through the use of Lean principles and Lean methods. Read more about the game and see a demonstration film here.

In addition to these business games, Part Development also has extensive experience in running the Lean Game. This game can be an eye-opener in demonstrating the effects that working toward Lean can produce. As a result it is suitable in connection with introducing Lean into an operation.

What all these business games share in common is that they provide an understanding of even the most abstract parts of Lean. This is because they give the participants a chance to test what Lean actually means in practice and what effects it can give.
