Literature, games and documents

As additional support to leaders, Part Development has developed training material over the years for making knowledge transfer more efficient. The materials consist of literature, operational development games as well as templates, documents, etc. The templates and documents can be downloaded free of charge.

Our goal is to make the transfer of knowledge more efficient so that the need for external support is minimized. Our operational development games can be either bought or rented, and after the leaders are trained, they can independently train their own organization according to the Train the Trainer concept. Based on our clients' needs profiles, we are continuously developing training material to facilitate the efficient transfer of knowledge.

"Leadership – Making Lean a Success!” explains in a concrete way what it takes to lead an organization towards Lean. The aim is to clarify how leaders can take on the role as being the critical link between understanding Lean and establishing a Lean culture that continuously improves results.
Apart from a brief description of Lean, the book focuses on the various aspects of leadership from organizational conditions to the leader´s personal image. The book also contains a small selection of leadership methods that contributes in giving the leaders structure and support in their effort to develop their employees as well as their own leadership.
The book is intended for leaders at all organizational levels as well as board members and people with owner interests. It is concrete in describing how the leadership should be adapted in order to make Lean a success.

"Lean – Turn deviations into success!” provides deeper understanding of Lean from a Western perspective. The book explains the most central parts of Lean with the aim to move focus from the random application of methods to what Lean is really about - to detect and eliminate waste.
The book emphasizes the why rather than the how. The organization´s understanding of the underlying lines of reasoning is crucial for long-term success with Lean. The understanding is necessary to be able to consistently choose the correct improvement activities given each operation´s unique conditions.
The book is intended for Lean practitioners who seek in-depth knowledge, as well as for people facing the decision on whether to take on a Lean effort. It is also suitable for students at universities etc

The Game 5S & Continuous Improvements - The game creates an understanding of how to create an effective workplace through 5S and continuous improvements. A non-effective workplace is characterized by the fact that employees are often looking for materials, tools, information, etc. This wastage can amount to more than 10 hours per week per employee. If the 5S method is used correctly in combination with continuous improvements, this time wastage will be significantly reduced!
